Christmas Cookies

Ryan & I have made reindeer cookies from Nutter Butter cookies and pretzels for many years. Here's a picture of one we made a couple of years ago.
This year, we substituted mini chocolate chips for the eyes and Red Hots for the noses. We liked them better. I just forgot to take pictures.

This year we tried something new. White-chocolate-covered-Oreo snowmen. We got the mint Oreos. They were super yummy, but super sweet, which was good. You can only eat one at a time!

For the noses, warm an orange Tootsie Roll in the microwave for a few seconds. (Take it out when it's squishy to the touch.) Cut it into as many pieces as you'd like, depending on the size of the nose you want. I cut each one into 8 pieces. While it's still slightly warm, roll the individual pieces into a cone shape for the carrot nose.

The earmuffs are M-n-Ms. The original "recipe" called for a piece of black licorice across the top of the head. We're not black licorice fans, so we left that part off. They're still cute!
